Darfurian Amulets
Darfur good luck charm – HIJAB
In Darfur you will be hard pressed to come across someone who doesn't wear at least one HIJAB amulet. The Kujurs, being some kind of village magic men or shamans, make them from camel leather. The people believe that the amulets protect them from evil and bring good luck. Amongst the people circulate unbelievable tales of survival and lucky coincidences due to the amulets. Rebel soldiers sometimes have one hundred or more of these. They wear them around their necks, arms or belts. They believe that the amulets help them to survive.

With the purchase of an amulet you can contribute to the purchase of drilling equipment or the Internet for Darfur.
The recommended price of the amulet is EUR 7.50. EUR 2.00 is the mailing cost. The entire amount of your purchase will be dedicated to helping the people of Darfur, so you can contribute even more if you would like to. You can decide for yourself what action you wish to support, while the amount of your purchase will remain listed (for example, Amulet I. P., Ljubljana) on the list of donors.
