One Hundred Years of drones in our skies
On Thursday, 25th of March 2010, at the 18th hours in the Technical Museum of Slovenia in Bistra near Vrhnika, treat exhibition about Rusjan brothers will be opened. Exhibition was prepared by Srečko Gombač.
The exhibition will be on display until 3rd of December 2010.
Visiting an exhibition entitled "One Hundred Years of drones in our skies" is dedicated to the centenary of the first motor flight in Slovenia in Gorica in year 1909, settled by Edward Rusjan. The plane was called EDA 1, built jointly with his brother Joseph.
The core of this exhibition is the wealthiest descriptive and pictorial representation of their life work and airplane manufacturing so far. An interesting and comprehensive description complements the rich photographic material, which most part is also a significant in color.
Brothers Rusjan idea to manufacture an airplanes was even more important than the two of them can be imagined. In this match was a crucial time every day, every successful or unsuccessful flight. Very soon has entered the international capital in the game that has to choose between those producers who gave them a more reliable guarantee of success.
