Slovenian glaziers society



It’s active for more than five years and tries to connect glaziers, craftsmen, companies and all those interested in the glass, experts, collectors…

Glass is a human companion throughout thousands of years. Its beginnings and all the future development are connected with desire for beautiful. That desire also led the glaziers in Slovenia who at first followed the example of famous Venetian workman, and later example of the Czech, who gave a special mark to the art (ars vitraria) in Central Europe. We can say we have a rich tradition in the field.

Previous presentations of creativity of our members are joined by the exhibition in the five-angled tower of Ljubljana castle as an opportunity to familiarize broader audiences with interesting and specific part of our applied arts.
