The world’s best Nirvana Tribute Band Nervana will be playing Nevermind in it’s entirety & other classics - Celebrating the 20th anniversary of Nirvana’s landmark Album.
Nervana – The world’s best Nirvana tribute, have toured all over the world and play the music of Nirvana with the ferocity and passion that the real Nirvana had. They have been described as the most authentic reproduction of the original 3-piece to ever to take to the stage. Receiving rave reviews all across Europe & the U.S.A from fans and critics alike, the trio have invaded the world with Grunge fever yet again. Seventeen years after the sad passing of rock legend & Icon Kurt Cobain, there still seemed to be a void in the music industry. Many tribute acts appeared & disappeared just as fast over the years, but something special was on the horizon...
Drummer Steve Kilroy, a Boston native, met bassist/studio engineer Dave Eve in London while recording an album with 'Gods Little Joke' for Revolver Records UK. After the release of the record, ('A Moment of Clarity') Dave toured the States and the UK with the band. The pair found themselves joining the Australian Nirvana tribute and after touring the world for 5 years building their reputation, they decided to push live further and sought a new frontman."Nirvana is about youth and angst and we wanted to give the fans what they really want to see and hear when they come to see a Nirvana tribute." After scouring the globe they found Jon on YouTube who had been perfecting his technique and had been searching for the right rhythm section himself. After flying to the US to rehearse, record and tour it was obvious they were on to something special.
Since performing their very 1st show in November 2009, the guys have gone on from strength to strength. 2010 saw them play greatly received shows all across Europe. Their hard work year culminated in a stellar performance at Liverpool's Mathew Street Festival, where they performed to a crowd over 50,000.
Nervana have been pulling in the crowds both in the US and Europe and the response has been unbelievable!! The band will be adding much anticipated new songs to the set like Scentless Apprentice, Radio Friendly Unit Shifter, Serve the Servants, very Ape and more, as well as their best known songs from Nevermind and beyond.
