Vision and Mission
The aim of the Slovenian Wine Festival is to present the wines of Slovenia and abroad and spread the culture of wine drinking.
Aims:
present a wine producer and their wines to the visitors;
bring together wine producers, experts, buyers and the media and thus create opportunities for wine producers to meet their competition;
help promote wines;
create a place of endless opportunities, gathering experts and wine lovers;
help raise the culture of wine drinking;
add to the quality and higher consumption of exquisite wines;
offer excellent wines to experts, wine lovers and business guests;
create new business opportunities and opportunities for expert debates;
educate about wine - especially younger populations.
Our Visitors
Every year the Slovenian Wine Festival gathers the catering industry, managers of restaurants and hotels, business guests, media, salesmen, owners of wine cellars, winegrowers and wine producers, sommeliers, oenologists, members of wine associations, members of wine brotherhoods, wine knights, wine queens and wine lovers.
The Festival offers something for everyone who sees wine as business, passion and love or is eager for knowledge about wine. The Festival is for everyone who appreciate the hard work of wine producers and winegrowers and who see a professional challenge in wine. Due to their various and quality tastes the Slovenian wines receive much attention. Therefore we invite you to visit us and enjoy the aroma and taste of this noble drink, meet old friends and discover something new.
Art is part of the Festival
Already in the design of the first image of the Slovenian Wine Festival in 1998, our designers have tried to express the substantive concept of the events, now the two events, also graphically. Therefore in the first decade several well-known Slovenian artists were invited to participate in planning the design of the Festival. For the second decade, together with our designers, we wish to emphasize this element as one of the characteristics of the Festivals: every year Studio Bons will invite a recognized charismatic personality from one of the fine arts areas to design a poster for our events.
