Niko Kralj, a legend and founder of Slovenian industrial design, has created some of the defining icons of Slovenian material culture. Seeming self-evident, these items for a long time remained its most overlooked section. Who doesn't know the renowned Rex chair? But there are many others, less known products made by Kralj that have been surrounding us. Today, they are often considered design classics at the global level. The work, design path and publicistic works of Niko Kralj will be presented by Špela Šubic and Barbara Predan, editors of the book and curators of the exhibition Niko Kralj, The Unknown Famous Designer, which is currently on display in the Museum of Architecture and Design (MAO).
